This menu shows the skill levels of your character, that is, his ability level
at some specifics tasks. You can increase your skill levels by actually
performing the action that benefits from that skill level, for example, the
Weapons Skill affects the RP consumption when fighting, so, if you want to
increase the Weapons Skill level you need to actually fight with a weapon.
Increasing the skill levels allows you to receive some benefits when doing
something that depends on that skill. In general most of them decreases the
amount of RP you need to perform an action that depends on that skill. If that
is not the case, I'll tell in the description of that skill what it does
instead. Here's a list of what is affected by each skill and additional effects
they can have on actions:
- Weapons: This skill is also affected by the weapon level you're using. If you
try to fight with a weapon whose level is higher than your skill level
you'll consume more RP than the usual in each attack.
- Farming: Affects the using of hoe and watering can.
- Mining: Affects the using of hammer.
- Pharmacy: Affects the success rate when trying to produce medicine on your
own. The best medicines requires a great Pharmacy level to be produced
successfully.
- Accessories: The same as Pharmacy, but for crafting accessories.
- Camping: Affects the use of sleeping bags in dungeons.
- Magic: Affects the use of Rune Abilities.
- Logging: Affects the use of axe.
- Fishing: Affects the use of pole.
- Forging: The same as Pharmacy, but for crafting Weapons and Shields.
- Cooking: The same as Pharmacy, but for cooking.
- Communication: Affects the taming and caring of monsters.
